Yesterday Mitch and I had a really great play day. Mitch's best friend Sammy came over to play with us. I just want to say that I LOVE baby communication. Let me explain. Sammy: Mamamamam- whine-cry- Ohhhhhhh. Pointing at something I have no idea what. Mitch: Blahblah? Yah? Runs off. Mommy: Ok, Sammy, what is it? Point to what you want. And then Mitch runs around the corner and puts Sam's paci in her mouth. Sammy: Thank you!
Last night we had so much fun at dinner at another friends house. Mitch comes running up to me and hands me a pair of shoes that he would like to wear. By the way, we arrived at Kati's house with a pair of size 8 buster browns that I was going to put away for next year. Mitch LOVES shoes. So the shoes that he hands me fit a doll, and will hardly go further than his big toe. So I put it on his big toe and he gets down and looks at me, then looks at Kati and laughs. Like, "Just kidding!" Takes the shoes off and runs away.
