Disney Princess Half Marathon

We have been busy traveling for the last 2 weeks. I've been busy training for the Disney Princess Half Marathon. March 7 all the hard work payed off. BJ, Mitch and I headed down to Orlando for the race, but along the way, we got to see Uncle Jim and Aunt Jimmie. The Uncle who married us. Mitch was a little ham by the way. He walked around and showed off for everyone. He eat up every last minute of hugs and kisses from Jim and Jimmie and left there to poop out in our hotel room that night. I promise to include some pictures of that visit tomorrow.
Saturday we headed to the Expo for a little bit of race festivities. Mitch once again started eating up the turf. He toddled around the expo while I got my number and loved every minute of it.

I am Princess Belle by the way! She is my favorite Princess. We arrived race morning in a nice cold 4:30 FL morning. I included a few pictures from my cell phone.

This was the best I have ever run, and the fastest. I ran another PR, at 1:54:11. Crazy, the first half marathon I ran in 2:13. I have shaved off almost 20 minutes from my time. That's huge. BJ asked me if I could still break 2 hours, and I told him I wasn't sure. Well I broke it and beat my last half time by another 3 minutes. I ran Jax in 1:57:54. I guess all that hard work and training paid off, and pushing Mitch in the jogger. It's a fool proof way of calming him down. Fussy baby=Jogger ride. So, I'm wondering what's going to happen when I have another baby, another 20 min?? Nah, but I am really enjoying my last PR. That was 8.30 min miles all the way.

By the way, I placed 538 out of 10,921 runners. Holy Cow! Not too shabby!

Disney Princess Half Marathon Start Line

Mile 11-I started to get tired-so I distracted myself by sending BJ a few picture messages

Mile 12-The end was in sight, and Epcot too! Not a bad view for the end of the race!

Finishers, Woo-hoo!
